A Glance into the Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Exam

This video demonstrates a clinician gathering a medical history from an older adult with a chief complaint of sexual assault. During this portion of the exam, the SANE utilizes pertinent information collected from the medical and assault history to develop the patient’s safety and discharge plan.
